2017 First in the Nation Suffrage Celebration

On Sunday, August 27th, 2017 we gathered for the Second Annual First in the Nation Suffrage Celebration at South St. Paul's City Hall.

Girl Scouts Win 2017 Pass the Torch Award

After a presentation about Women's Suffrage History, the Girl Scouts received the 2017 "Pass the Torch Award" for encouraging girls to document and share their life stories.
2017 Attendance Was So Robust, We Ran Out of Chairs!
Girl Scouts led "The World's Shortest Suffrage Parade" across the street to a park where the old City Hall once stood--one of three polling places used during the August 27th, 1920 election.
